A quick word about us…

We are a group of God’s people who believe in new beginnings.

We are people, just like you, who are discovering their new beginning in every area of life: spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially and in their family.

Sturt Street is a place where you can discover the real purpose for your life and where your full potential can be realized. The location of our facilities at 27 Sturt Street, Adelaide, is simply a convenient place for those of us who form this local church to gather for our combined activities, worship and teaching. You are welcome to join us Sundays at 10am and 6pm.

As people who have discovered our new beginning and the meaning of life, we joyfully celebrate it regularly. Our new beginning has been found in the person of Jesus Christ who is alive and has given us life abundantly.

We invite you to explore this new beginning and discover the person who can give it to each of us – Jesus Christ.

Our discovery is that Christianity is not simply a set of religious rules, but a vital living relationship with the person of Jesus Christ.

We passionately enjoy the opportunity to celebrate this new life, to honour the one who has given it to us, to learn His ways for our lives and to be empowered by God’s Holy Spirit to share this new life with others in our community. We have found the dynamic power that is available to every believer in the wonderful experience of being filled with the Holy Spirit.  We have discovered the amazing power of God that is expressed through the various Gifts of the Holy Spirit. We are commonly known as a Pentecostal Church.  

We have discovered that the word of God, as revealed in the Bible, is relevant, meaningful and able to speak to us in a powerful way.

You will also notice the rich cultural diversity of those who belong to our church. People who have come from a variety of countries to make Adelaide their home have found a real sense of belonging at Sturt Street.

At Sturt Street you will find scores of people from many walks of life and various parts of the world who would be delighted to share their story with you of how they have discovered a powerful and meaningful relationship with the living Christ.

These are people who are spread across the Adelaide region and who outwork their faith and experience on the anvil of everyday life in a variety of ways.
